1.The HE-staining of bone tissue revealed that bone marrowfatty tissue were extremely few in 6 month-old rats and almost filled 40% marrow cavity in 18 month-old rats (P＜0.01). The fattymarrow were positively correlated with aging (r=0.762) and negatively correlated with BMD (r=-0.626) .
2.CT and MR imaging showed a densely calcified nodule with fatty bone marrow component protruding from the inner surface of petrous bone but not involving the internal auditory canal.
