faunal province
1.There are 9 main separated water systems and in total 185 species/subspecies of fresh water fishes in Zhejiang Province. Average faunal resemblance (AFR) and Jaccard Sneath Coefficient of fishes were calculated between the water systems, and then were clustered using UPGMA method to analyse their faunal relationships.
2.The amphibian fauna on the southwest of Hubei Province were studied during 1985~1989. There are 42 species (including subspecies) of amphibia which belong to 15genuses and 10 families．There are some ancient species in the faunal realm and has a wide comection with suvrvunday．This fauna shows alternating transition from north to south and from west to east.
