2.According to chemical composition and crystal structure of minerals, the optical, mechanical, thermological, electrical, magnetic and surface properties of minerals, the function of physical chemistry of minerals, the methods of mineral analyses and research, the position and the action of minerals in the refractory, keeping temperate, insulant, ceramic, constructional, filling, agricultural, environmental protective and grinding materials, the request of the materials to mineral function will be introduced, and the applied present condition and the developing tendency of diamond, graphite, groundum, quartz, wontmorillonite, talc, mica, vermiculite, feldspar, zeolite, calcite, flourite, and other minerals will be dealt with particularly in the course.
