1.The selected energy dissipators are fairly suitable for solving the problems on energy dissipation with large unit discharge, small Froude number, large stage fluctuation range and complicated operation condition.
2.For the medium and small sized hydropower stations equipped with through-flow turbines under the condition of higher fluctuation range of the tail-water levels, the internal space of the auxiliary powerhouse under the maximum tail-water level is almost closed with poor ventilating and lighting condition.

4.Using the extreme high and low monthly temperatures of 20 stations in Ningxia during 1961-2004,the basic features of the extreme temperature change were analyzed with climate trend index and Mann-Kendall mutation test. Results showed that,the annual extreme high and low temperatures during this period rose with fluctuation,and the rising range of annual extreme low temperature exceeded that of extreme high temperature;
6.A low angle laser light scattering spectrometer was constructed using a Langley Ford 1096 Correlater, which is able to measure the fluctuation of scattering light at an angle range of 3.2—6.0°.
7.The measurement principle of the instruments are light fluctuation and light extinction. The measurement ranges are 10 to hundreds micron and 0.05 to 10 micron, respectively, that cover the whole size range of powder. The application of the instruments is benefit for the quality and efficiency of powder production.
8.It is proposed that cooling ways greatly influence the hardness of nitrided layer,and the content of CNO - within the range of fluctuation has little effect.
9.Travel times of pp and PS phases reflected at the same part of the Moho were used to determine the structures of lower crust, the dip of Moho discontinuity is -0.83°—0.84° and its depth is about 68—69 Km. The range of fluctuation of Moho is 120Km and the extent is about≥1Km. The result indicates that fluctuation of Moho is slightly changed and the crust is fundamentally horizontal.
