1.The new species is similar to Ascogaster fullawayi (Baker), but differs from the latter in: temple about equal to eye in dorsal view, no sharp angulate teeth between frons and eye orbits; no weak longitudinal carina through the lower part of face; carapace apex with a small and dull conical spine.
