1.In view of the difficulty to detect small and dim targets in a group of visible images under heavy clutters, a spatial filter is designed using an area morphology algorithm which can find out the doubtful targets with more than 10% gray scale than the local background in single image.
2.The simulation shows that the algorithm can detect visible small and dim targets with similar background gray scale and list their threat sequences.
