green pellets
1.The binding principle in pelletizing covers a comprehensive model of interfacial reaction among particles inside green pellets, the formation of binding film during hardening of green pellets by baking to obtain enough strength for a volumetric catalyzed reduction model for cold-bound pellets bearing composite binder and corresponding high temperature reduction system in rotary kiln.
2.The laboratory results show that green pellets have a compression strength of above 9?8 N, dry pellets a compression strength of above 58?8 N, finished pellets a compression strength of above 2?3 kN and green pellets falling times of 4~6?2. All technical indexes obtained by combined use of CL?3 and bentonite are higher than those by separate use of bentonite and KLP adhesive.
