2.54,100 juvenile of hatchery reared spotted babylons(Babylonia areolata)(shell length ranged from 1.30 to 2.61 cm,and weight from 0.90 to 2.68 g) were cultured in an earthen pond of 0.16 hm~2 for four months to marketable size,and the output of the babylon was 243.0 kg.
