1.HDQM is a combined method with WDQM being used in the longitudinal direction due to its superiority in treating singularity and GDQM in the thickness direction for its higher computational efficiency.
2.In this paper, numerical simulation of die swell for the integral Maxwell fluid is investigated employing the stress calculation method based on the conventional finite element used by Luo and the method of avoiding singularity used by Fan. The reasonable solution of higher Weissenberg number is obtained.
