1.So, the Ni~(2+) ions are shown to be week active sites for cracking, and non active for isomerization. After reduction,the dealkylations of xylene, toluene were mainly observed. The metallic Ni, whioh not only catalyzes the hydrogenation of coke precursors, but is also active for catalytic cracking of hydrocarbons, are strong active sites for hydrocracking reaction.
