1.The stress range and the mean stress produced by nonlinear wave bending moment acting on ship hull are obtained by means of rain-flow cycle counting. The independence test, significance test of the linear regression, the homogeneity test of variance (Bartlett), distribution fitting and its test are made.
2.Test for independence showed correlation between IFA and IEA and independence were found between method IFA and ELISA (P>0.05).
3.Pearson χ~2 test was not as restricted as the likelihood ratio test,its transitional probabilities being allowed to be greater than zero,and thus,could be more useful in testing the assumption of homogeneity and independence.
