6.Twelve kinds of viscosity index improver(VII), which is from four kinds: ethylene propylene copolymers(OCP), polymethacrylate(PMA), polyisobutylene (PIB), hydrogenated styrene-isoprene copolymer (HSD), were added to two kinds of base oils of intermediate and paraffin so as to formulate the thickened oils, measure and study the thickening curve and thickening power(D) of VII and the shear stability(S),low temperature fluidity and thermal oxidation stability of thickened oil.
