ionic-selective
.INVESTIGATION ON CHEMICAL STABILITY OF ThCl_4 BASED GLASS USING DYNAMIC IONIC SELECTIVE ELECTRODE METHOD
.For the content determination of ciprofloxacin three different methods were used:ionic-selective electrode,UV spectroscopy and gran linear titration.
.The ionic selective electrodes were used for emf measurement in the NaC1, KC1, KBr, NaC1-KC1, KC1-KBr and NaC1-KBr solutions at the temperatures of 10, 25, 35, and 45℃. The activity coefficients of KC1, NaC1 and KBr in these three mixed electrolyte solutions were calculated. The Pitzer-Li equation is improved by the authors and applied to calculate the activity coefficients in these systems.
.The electrochemically synthesized non-doped PPy as pH-indicator electrode gave satisfactory potentiometric properties: sub-Nernstian response with a slope, of 49.32mV/pH at buffer solutions of pH 3 to 10, excellent linearity, of -0.9971, and relatively fast response time and less by far ionic selective coefficient to conventional positive ions such as K+ and Na+.
.Studies on Ionic-exchange Behaviour of EMD and Selective Adsorption of Lithium Ions by EMD Ionic-sieve Method
.Fibrous electrolytic manganese dioxide(EMD) was prepared from manganous chloride solution by electrolyzing at 90~95℃with graphite anode, EMD has the exchange properties with cations in aqueous chloride solutions,A lithium type ionic-sieve made from EMD substrate may be used for selective adsorption of trace lithium from sea water with an efficiency of about 90% yield.
.Mean activity coefficients of LiCl in LiCl Li 2B 4O 7 H 2O system have been determined in the ionic strength ranging from 0.01 to 2.50mol·kg -1 at 298.15K by the method of EMF using a pair of lithium ion selective electrode and Ag/AgCl electrode. Stoichiometric association equilibrium constant K m and Pitzer ion interaction parameters were evaluated from present measurements by using multiple regression and iterative method.
