2.sequence spectral analyses of oxygen isotopic record, opal content and MAR reveal that the variability of the surface productivity were dominantly forced by the earth orbital cycles.
3.In the conodont disparilis Zone carbon isotopic compositions shift negatively twice times on both sections, and the Sr content can also be a good correlation marker within this zone 1.1 ‰ and 0.8‰ on the Maanshan (Juntian) section and 1.5‰ and 1.3‰ on the Dale section, respectively.
4.By using the reverse isotopic dilution method, Re spike B was measured on different date and at different concentration level. The average measured content was (62.74±0.26) ng/g (2σ,n =15) which highly agrees in the range of analytical error with the result by gravimetric method.
5.A Late Quaternary stratigraphic and chronologic (over the last 100ka) framework is established for Core B2-9 on the slope of the northern Bering Sea, based on correlation of Cycladophora davisiana (radiolarian) content in this core with SPECMAP oxygen isotopic records from deep-sea sediments.
