1.A lateral pushing method is used to transform the ordinary MDOF vibration isolation structure into a 2?DOF equivalent vibration system.Small parameter approximation solution for dynamic properties and the dynamic response of equivalent system of vibration isolation is presented considering either proportional or non-proportional damping models.The effect of stiffness ratio of superstructure to that of the isolation system on the accuracy of the dynamic properties is analyzed in a numerical example.
