2.Based on an accident which overvoltage is produed by thunderstroke in the end hung system of high-voltage line to cause damage to the line end equipment, the authors analyze the propagation of lightning wave in the power line,and put forward the effective safe measures which the lightning arrester is installed at the power line end to protect the end equipment.
3.<Abstrcat> The automatic calculation function of EXCEL is helpful in accelerating the calculation of technical parameters of power supply line such as wire cross_section area, power moment of various sections of line, voltage loss and terminal voltage of each section of line, so as to save time required for design calculation of civil power supply line, improve work efficiency and design quality.
4.The± 10 0 kvar D- STATCOM illustrated in this paper em ploys an IGBT tri- level inverter and start- ups directly from the line. In order to eliminate the given harm onics in the outputline- line voltage of the inverter,the selective harmonic elim ination PWM SHEPWM method is adopted in pulse m odulations. The controller and the pulse generator are im plem ented with two TMS32 0 C3X DSP chips respectively.
8.The UPFC changes the control method of traditional equipments of FACTS which can usually regulate one or some parameters, by combining shunt and serial equipments together, and optionally affects almost all factors related to line flow in real-time, thus can flexibly control the parameters such as active power, reactive power, voltage, reactance, phase angle of power line, and resolve a series of problems in the power transmission system. Thereby, it has really fine developing foreground.
