2.In-suit reaction synthesis methods mainly include self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS), exothermic dispersion (XD), directed metal oxidation (DIMOX), preesureless metal infiltration (PRIMEX), vapor — liquid — solid (VLS) reaction process, mechanical alloying(MA), reactive hot pressing (RHP), etc.
3.The age hardening characteristic of as-cast Cu20Ni20Mn and Cu20Ni35Mn alloys and the interface characteristic between the alloy and cast tungsten carbide were studied, and on the basis of this study, composites of Cu-Ni-Mn alloy reinforced with different volume fraction (0-45vol.%) and different size (42-362μm) of cast tungsten carbide particles were made by vacuum hot-pressing liquid sintering technology.
4.Based on the above studes, the SiC tapes and bulks were produced by tape casting and slip casting, separately, the SiC green bodies were made by lamination and shear pressing of SiC tapes; the SiC skeletons were fabricated by pressureless sintering, and the SiC Al FGM was manufactured by pressure infiltration of liquid metals into ceramic skeletons.
