3.In this paper, the blends of PET and TLCP were prepared by melt blending and characterized by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), capillary rheometer, melt index measuring instrument, scanning electronic microscope (SEM). The results of experiments indicated that the TLCP phase dispersed well in the PET matrix. The two components of all blends were part-miscible with BOZ.
6.However, the melt flow index of Al(OH) 3/FPP/PP decreases with increasing the grafting rate of FPP. It is attributed to the presence of an interfacial interaction between FPP and Al(OH) 3. With adding Al(OH) 3 and increasing the content of Al(OH) 3, LOI values of composites increase and further improve by adding FPP.
7.The effect of die angle on the flow behaviour of high impact polystyrene (HIPS) melt was investigated by using a set of capillaries with different entry angles (2 α). The results showed that the flow of the melt basically obeyed the index law, the dependence of the apparent shear viscosity roughly accorded with the Arrhenius equation and the values changed with 2α .
9.With a capillary die directly fixed in general single screw extruder, the rheological behavior of RPVC extrusion structural foam (RPVC-EF) was studied, The results show that the rheological behavior of PVC melt with AC foaming agent appears to be pseudoplasic fluid characteristic, and it can be expressed as Ss=K·(St)~n, flow beharior index n(?)
