5.This paper describes the application of semi-circular breakwater at home and abroad and the design innovation and optimization of semi-circular jetty in Yangtze Estuary Deepwater Channel Regulation Project, esp. the design of estuary jetty structure using semi-circular floating caissons; A new calculation method for wave forces acting on the submerged semi-circular estuary jetty and the optimization design method for semi-circular structures are recommended.
8.This paper presents a straight-forward practical measuring method for the focused Gaussian beam spot diameter and the acting threshold power density of illuminated object. The affections for the fluctuations of laser power and the focusing error of illuminated object on the measuring accuracy are discussed also.
10.Local bending stress in bottom flange of I-beam crane rail is analysed by means of testing and finite element method. As a result, formulae and graphic curves for calculating local bending stress which are suitable for domestically made Ⅰ-beams are obtained. Relationship between acting point of maximum combined local bending stress and acting point of wheel pressure is induced.
