3.The chemical structure of heptaene macrolide antifungal antibiotic 414, candicidin and levorin were confirmed by using electron spray ionization mass spectrum (ESI MS), HPLC, HPLC MS, 1H NMR and 13 C NMR. They were proved to be identical, and their biological activities were tested and compared by using microbiological assay.
