6.Methods During the follow-up (1 week-1 year) after pars plana vitrect omy and silicone oil injection, 11 cases (11 eyes)were found to have silicone oi l in the anterior chamber, which came into contact with corneal endothelium. Bef ore and after extraction of silicone oil, the patients were examined with micros copy and underwent quantitative analysis.
