3.Results: The decrease of tetanic tension (PO), posttetanic twitch potentiation (PTP), and the lengthening of relaxation time (RT) of the denervated EDL could be ameliorated by CE. The decrease of muscle wet weight, total protein and muscle fibre cross section area (CSA) after denervation could be prevented by CE.
4.Water, pH, diameter of muscle fibre, sarcomere length and content of proline of each group were also determinded. At the same time, obsevation on histomorphology was made. The results showed that WB values, sensory panel scores of NPG were significantly lower and higher than those of OPG respectively.
