3.The microgravity condition is simulationed using the neutral buoyancy technique by the Plateau simulation, applications of which for microgravity science include three aspects: investigations of equilibrium and oscillations of liquid bridges; research on the liquid encapsulated floating zone crystal growth technique and the acoustic levitation technique and so on. Advances of three aspects are reviewed in this paper.
