2.A simple UV-visible, circular dichroism thin-layer spectroelectrochemical cell with long optical path has been designed and characterized. The cell with 10 mm quartz cuvette as the optical window, two pieces of 5 mm×10 mm×15 mm teflon as the electrode supporters and a glassy carbon slide as the working electrode has an adjustable thickness of thin-layer.
4.Melting temperatures of OFHC(Oxygen-Free High Conductivity) copper at pressures ranging from 110 GPa to 140 GPa were measured on a two-stage light-gas gun by optical radiometry techniques and using LiF single crystal as window,based on such a conclusion that the melting temperatures at the sample/window interface pressure is equal to the release temperature,and close to the interfacial temperature if the OFHC copper sample is initially shocked or released into the region adjacent to the liquidus.
7.Single ridge waveguide EML incorporating InP window and anti-reflection optical film coating is fabricated by selective area growth. No power penalty is observed at a bit-error-ratio of 10 -12 after standard single mode fiber transmission of 280km long when the EML is modulated with 25Gb/s NRZ 2 23-1 PRBS data.
8.This paper describes the design,construction and technical targets of a portable laser finger-print detector,and explains the influences of various parameters such as pump energy,dye concentration,Brewster window,small aperture diameter,optical filter to the targets of the instrument. The experimental results show that the instrument is effetive for finger-print detecting.
