1.Based on many years research and practice, we propose in this paper the concept of equivlent page byte error rate (EPBER) by analysis of page format and error correct coding of data broadcasting. By using EPBER, the judge error rate of vertical parity and CRC 16 error check codes are analysed quantitatively, and the improvement of page fail rate by over writing function and optimum strategy for the receiver are expounded.
