2.It has been verified by applying the combination of Fluorogold retrograde tracing with immunofluorescence or the combination of HRP retrograde tracing with immunocytochemistry that in the bed nucleus of stria terminalis in rats some of the neurons projecting to the parabrachial nucleus in the anteriorlaterally located oval nucleus and its ventral adjacent area are neurotensin (NT) and corticotropic releasing factor (CRF) immunoreactive. They constitute 40% and 20% of the total projection cells in this region respectively.
3.In the present study, the sector method is adopted to calculate the fin efficiency of oval finned tubes with tube aspect ratios ranging from 1 to 5 and for different operating conditions. The results airs compared with those generated by the equal-area and the equal-perimeter methods.
