patency rate
3.The left internal mammary artery (LIMA) is the conduit of choice to the left anterior descending (LAD)artery, which reduces the risk of cardiac events and improves the survival rate of patients with coronary artery disease because of its high patency rate. Thereby how to evaluate the patency of LIMA graft is an important examination in the follow-up period of CABG patients. Coronary angiogram is invasive, which prevents its routine use as a quality control tool in the postoperative setting.
7.The tubal patency of 97 infertile women was studied by Contrast B-mode Ultrasonography (CBU) with hydrogen peroxide and by HSG. The CBU was compared with HSG in order to evaluate the reliability of the former. The accordant rate of normal results for both methods was 89.06% and that of abnormal results 75.56%.
8.Laparoscopy with chomohydrotubation was performed in 21 women. The accordant rate of CBU to Laparoscopy was 71.43% and that of HSG 47.62%, indicating that CBU was more accurate than HSG. Our experimental results confirm that CBU is a safe, simple and reliable method for diagnosing the causes of infertility, especially for evaluating the tubal patency.
