3.Methods Color reaction was used to identify the amino acids contained in turtle shell and pangolin scales in the preparation, and thin layer chromatography was applied to identify other essential ingredients of the preparation such as milkvetch root, rhubarb, bupleurum root, danshen root, red peony root and barbary wolfberry fruit.
4.Dementia recovery preparation group: At the dose of 1.08 g/kg per day, intragastric infusion of dementia recovery preparation (consisted of membranous milkvetch root, dan-shen root, fleece flower root, barbary wolfberry fruit, prepared adhesive rehmannia root, red peony root, common turmeric, thinleaf milkwort root and human placenta, prepared into suspension when use) was given for 14 days, followed by model establishment. For 5 days post-operative, dementia recovery preparation was given continuously.
6.③ Lemai granules group (n=10): The rats were treated with ischemic preconditioning for 10 minutes, and then were given gastric perfusion of Lemai granules (including dan-shen root, Szechwan lovge rhizome, red peony root, safflower, nutgrass galingale rhizome and costusroot, 1.5 g/kg per day), and middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) was induced by intraluminal filament for 2 hour and reperfusion for 22 hours after 3 days.
7.Methods Divide 78 patients into two groups. The 40 patients in the treatment group orally take Jin Shuang Qi 3 times a day, 2g each time, and the traditional Chinese medicine of Xian Ju Soup(containing agrimony, balloonflower, carbonized black plum, white hibiscus flower, parched white atractylodes rhizome, costusroot, raw white peony root, areca, liquorice, shunk bugbane).
8.To discuss the best composing proportion of SIWU decoction which contains Rehmanmiae Preparata (A),Radix Angelicae Sinensis (B),White Peony root (C) and Szechwan Lovge Rhizome(D),the eyeball blood letting method was used to make the models of acute hemorrhagic anemia in mice. Hemoglobin was regarded as reference index to observe the influence of every herb of SIWU decoction on nourishing the blood by orthogonal experiments.
