3.And I said unto my master, Peradventure the woman will not follow me.

5.And the men of Israel said unto the Hivites, Peradventure ye dwell among us; and how shall we make a league with you?
6.And Jacob answered and said to Laban, Because I was afraid: for I said, Peradventure thou wouldest take by force thy daughters from me.
7.And he said, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there.
8.And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there.
9.And Jacob answered and said to Laban， Because I was afraid： for I said， Peradventure thou wouldest take by force thy daughters from me.
10.Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
