3.The electrodeposition of amorphous Ni-P alloys has been investigated by using electrochemical, X-ray diffraction and ESCA methods. The results show that the main factor that affects the amorphous structure of the alloys is the phosphorus content in deposit. The amorphous Ni-P alloys are obtained when the phosphorus content in deposit exceeds 9 percent by weight.
4.At the optimum condition, which is at normal pressure and temperature 175-185 ℃, in mole ratio of phenol to DMC of 3:1, in 2 weight percent of catalyst to DMC, in 9ml/h of DMC feed rate and for reation period of about 12 hours, the yield of DPC is 23.5%, methyl phenyl carbonate (MPC) yield is 47.89%, and the conversion of DMC is 82.4%.
