plagioclase feldspar
1.a transparent or translucent gemstone with a pearly luster; some specimens are orthoclase feldspar and others are plagioclase feldspar.
3.the commonest type of solidified lava; a dense dark gray fine-grained igneous rock composed chiefly of calcium-rich plagioclase feldspar and pyroxene.
5.The leucogranites have apparently twoperiods: earlier two mica leucogranites, the mineral assemblages are biotite+muscovite±garnet(quartz+plagioclase+alkaline-feldspar); the later tourmaline leucogranites, the mineralassemblages are muscovite+tourmaline±biotite±garnet(quartz+plagioclase+alkaline-feldspar).
