2.Based on the systematic investigation on almond industry of California, a series information and technique including the circumstances of introduction and cultivation, the economic value of almond, the main varieties, nursery stock growing, planting, pruning, shearing, pest and disease control, harvesting and processing were introduced. These information and technique can be adopted in the introduction and cultivation of almond in our country on a selective basis.
3.In the next few years China will concentrate on spreading the following important agricultural techniques: improved new varieties, paddy rice nurture in dry nursery and thin planting by throwing rice seedlings, plastic mulching, precise and semi-precise mechanical seeding, the integrated pest management, scientific fertilization, water-saving irrigation, and dry land farming.
