4.Abstract: Based on cross breaks defect formation during uncoilling of hot strip of low carbon steel,the bending deformation,stress distribution,yield point elongation and strain aging of the hot strip during uncoilling and levelling were analyzed by use of the knowledge,such as elastic-plastic mechanics and metal science etc.It is believed that the bad flatness of the hot strip is not responsible for the cross breaks formation.The defect results from yield point elongation of the low carbon steel,thus providing a basis for solution of the cross breaks defect.
5.The results from basic properties,shear resistance,pressure strength and point film test show that different low molecular polyamide may affect extrodinary by the properties of cured expoxy resin??the higher viscosity,the lower cured activity(rate);the higher amine number,the stronger cure construction.The cured expoxy resin will prossess unfavourable mechanics when it is cured by the polyamide with both too high viscosity and amine number.
6.Abstract: Presents a new optical way of flow visualization realized through analyzing the elliptically polarized beam generated by superimposition of two orthogonal linearly polarized beams,while the polarization of every point in image changes according to the refraction index of the flow at every point, causing variation of illumination about every point of the image through analyzer, if one beam passes through the flow object and concludes from experimental results that this method is feasible because there is no interference between two orthogonal linearly polarized beams, and this method can generate more unambignous image than the method of Mach-Zehnder interferometer, and can be used in such fields as fluid mechanics,biological observation and microelectronics.
7.The microstructure, density, apparent porosity, room temperature mechanics and oxidation resistance of silicon carbide ceramic had been systematically analyzed through XRD, SEM techniques as well as Archimedes law, three-point bending, single edge notched beam bending and Vicker’s hardness indentation methods.
8.The fracture mechanics of EPDM modified PP were indicated by integral critical valuesJ_(lc) which were correspondent with fracturing points. J_(lc) were determined by usingthree-point bend method and the values of J_(lc) were 3.2 kJ/m~2 at-20℃ and 4.6kJ/m~2 at22℃ respectively.

10.The dynamic force-displacement relation curve is of crucial important to the design and operation of mechanical impact devices.Using one-dimensional wave mechanics and characteristic line theory, this paper presents a testing method for determination of dynamic force-displacement relation curve from one-point strain measurement on an elastic rod endface.The principle of measurement, data processing method and experimental results for penetration into granite are discussed.4figs.,5refs.
