1.Article 62 Any unit that has caused an atmospheric pollutionhazard shall have the responsibility of removing the hazard and of making compensations to the units or individuals that have suffered direct losses.
2.Any unit or individual that has suffered damage directly from a water pollutionhazard shall have the right to demand elimination of the hazard and compensation for the damage by the polluter.
3.Article 55 A unit which has caused a water pollutionhazard shall have the responsibility to eliminate it and make compensation to the unit or individual that has suffered direct losses.
4.Article 41. A unit that has caused an environmental pollutionhazard shall have the obligation to eliminate it and make compensation to the unit or individual that suffered direct losses.
5.Article 35 Where heated waste water is discharged into any water body, measures shall be taken to ensure that the temperature of the water body conforms to the standards for water environment quality, so as to prevent any heat pollutionhazard.
10.Indiscriminate disposal of waste from the livestock industry has been one of the main causes of pollution in streams in the New Territories, and still constitutes a health hazard in places.
