1.Pot experiment showed that after 30 days of transgenic Bt rice planting and by the end of the growth season of transgenic Bt cotton,the contents of soil total C,total N,alkali-hydrolyzable N,and available P and S had no significant difference with the control,which suggested that there was a little disturbance in the cycle and balance of soil nutrients after a short period of transgenic Bt crops planting.
2.The results showed that there was good purification effect of water hyacinth on piggery waste water. When not affecting growth of water hyacinth, the more water hyacinth planting at unit acreage, the more removal rate of COD and NH + 4 N. Planting 47～140g of water hyacinth in pot 40cm in diameter, the removal rate of COD is 48.9%～58.1%,and NH + 4 N is 81.4%～89.9%.
