progeny virus
2.The viral nucleic acid contains information necessary for programming the infected host cell to synthesize virus-specific macromolecules required for the production of viral progeny.
3.Results showed that progeny DEV began to be released into supernatant of MEM cultivation at 22 h post-infection and attained a 103-fold increase at 50 h post-infection. Compared with the supernatant of MEM culture, DEF was the main part containing DEV and contents of the virus in the latter was 1×102-1×103 higher than that in the former.
