1.RESULTS:Alcoholic extract of Rhizoma Atractyloidis,in dosages of 5g herb/kg and 15 g herb/kg ip,inhibited xylene-induced swelling of the ear,carrageeni_n-induced swelling of the planta and the increased vascular permeability induced by ip acetic acid,and reduced the frequency of purge induced by castor oil or senna,but did not inhibit the gastrointestinal propellant rate of Chinese ink.
