2.Throught the introduction of the alternative design scheme for the bidding of the First Stage Land Reclamation Project of Xinluhuan Power Plant, Aomen, it was described in the paper that the design construction scheme of dredging should be adopted as can as possible for the land reclamation and repairing sea embankment in order to lower the project cost and reduce environmental pollution.
3.The purpose of this web site is to share my experiences with workers in any country on water logging in agricultural lands, irrigation induced soil salinity, subsurface drainage for agriculture (horizontal and vertical), reuse of groundwater, ground-water hydraulics, (geo)hydrology, rainfall and surface runoff relations, reclamation and improvement of water logged saline, salty, sodic alkaline, and acid sulphate soils, plant growth, crop production and responses as well as statistical analysis consisting of segmented linear regression and cumulative frequency distributions.
4.Anyone who has conducted reclamation for cultivation of crops on the reclamation-forbidden slopes before the entry into force of this Law shall, on the basis of capital farming construction and in the light of the actua1 conditions, gradually stop the cultivation and, instead, plant trees, grow grass and restore the vegetation, or build terraced fields thereon.
5.Efforts have also been made to develop river banks and plant trees and grass. A rational system of rotation of herds has been enforced, and efforts have been made to prevent the blind reclamation of wasteland at the expense of grassland.
