1.The AVL657 digital analyzer was used to measure and record the charge pressure wave in the intake system and the TSI IFA100 hot-wire/hot-film constant temperature anemometer was used to measure and record the charge velocity in the intake port. The measurements were performed under motoring condition at different engine speeds and different throttle valve openings and the chargings and the volumetric efficiencies of each cylinder were calculated under different conditions.
