3.Conclusion: The higher frequency of MAGE-1 gene expression in HCC suggests the possibility of MAGE-1 gene encoding protein as target for immunotherapy in patients with HCC, but there was no relationship between the positive expression of MAGE-1 gene and serum levels of AFP, AFU,AFPmRNA or the tumor markers or metastasis or recurrence of HCC.
