retinopathy of prematurity
1.We encourage early indirect ophthalmoscopic examination in order to early detect the retinopathy of prematurity.
2.Our result demonstrate that the birth weight have relations with the severity of ROP and cryotherapy is an effective treatment for the active stage Ill retinopathy of prematurity.
3.Methods The complication of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome(NRDS), bronchopulmonary dys-plysia( BPD), patent ductus arteriosus(PDA),intracranial hemorrhage (IVH), periventricular leukomalacia (PVL) and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) were analysed in 16 cases of ELBW and 26 cases of very low birth weight(VLBW) infants.
4.Objective: To investigate the expression of glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP) in the retinopathy of prematurity(ROP) model mice,and explore the relationship between Müller cells and retinal vascular development.
