1.The efferent projections of the auditory thalamus in ringdove (Streptopelia risoria) were studied by using the antereograde method of biotinylated dextran amine(BDA).
2.The results showed that: (1) Injection of BDA into n. ovoidalis of the ringdove produced mainly terminal labeling in the field L 2 of the auditory neostriatum;
3.The afferent projections of the auditory areas of thalamus in ringdove (Streptopelia risoria) were studied by using anterograde phaseolus vulgaris leucoagglutinin(PHAL) injections, and retrograde and anterograde Biotinylated Dextran Amine (BDA) injections.
