2.This paper presents a method of using AGC system with adaptive gaugemeter. Based on the rolling pressure data sampled in line, this new system estimates the parameter of -presaging pressure-model by recursive least squares (RLS) identification algorithm with forgetting factor, forecasts the pressurs of the stand itself, and determines the magnitude of screwdown control according to minimum variance control law.
