3.In modern foreign language teaching, due attention isn’t not paid to listening as the other three skills including speaking, reading and writing. It is the Cinderella skill in second language teaching (David Nunan, 2001). There exist critical situations both in listening learning and in listening teaching in Secondary Vocational Schools in China ---- listening teaching and learning is time-consuming and low effective.
4.Based on the experience and the existing problems summed up in the practice of multimedia teaching, the article deals with further modern teaching methods that will suit the secondary vocational education characteristics and its requirements, find out the best point that can conn -ect with the traditional teaching patterns, develop the whole function of multimedia education, and enlarge the application area of multimedia teaching.
