serum (sera)
3.Total serum protein and the concentration of IgM of the normal sera of bullhead catfish were determined by using the Coomassie blue dye binding method of Bradford and sandwich ELISA, the values being 17.57mg/ml and 1.16mg/ml, respectively. The percentage of IgM in the total serum protein was 6.60% .
7.Results:The serum antibody of all experimental rats could be detected in four weeks after infection. The false positive in sera against schostosoma japonicum,Trichinella spiralis,Toxocara canis/Paragonimus westermani and angiostrongylus cantonensis were 2/10,2/10,2/10,1/10和0.Conclusion:ELISA, with a high sensitivity and specificity, was fit to detect C.
8.Aleutian mink disease virus CIEP antigens were analysed with Western blotting. The serum from infected mink, the polyclonal antibody serum, contains antibodies against the CIEP antigens whose molecular weights are 60000, 50000 and 25000 respectively, but the monoclonal antibody sera only react with antigens with Mr 60000 and 50000.It suggested that the epitope of the specific antigen in CIEP for diagnosing Aleutian mink disease locates on viral protein with Mr 25000.
