silicate glass
5.In the case of normal structure in secondary separation, for an example,it has beenindicated by the qualitative and semiquantitative results of EPMA and EDXA that thediscrete phase is rich in Si, Al and K, being mainly an alumino-silicate glass, while thecontinuous phase is rich in Fe, Ca, P and Mg, being a silicious phosphate glass.
7.The main cause of corrosion on glass fibre in portland cement paste is the reactionbetween Ca(OH)_2, precipitated from the hydration of cement, and Si-O skeleton of glassfibre and then produces hydrated calcium silicate gel of C-S-H(I)type, while imperfectionson surface layer of glass fibre accelerate this process.
9.The Tb~(3+)-activated silicate glasses with ideal luminescence properties were prepared by composition designing and batches melting. The spectrophotometer was used to analyze the excitation and emission spectra of the glasses. The luminescence properties of the glass and polycrystal (Gd_2O_2S∶Tb) were compared in the X-ray ((9 MeV))charge-coupled device(CCD) camera system.
