1.The bands of metallic coordinated polymers[｛HgX 2(bipy)｝ n]with layer skeleton (X=Cl,Br;bipy=4,4′ bipyridyl)have been calculated by the EHT crystal orbital method. The main bonding of energy bands has been discussed by the Band Vector Method.
2.The molecular structure of Ia, which was deduced from the result of crystal structure analysis of Ib, shows that it is a novel diterpene containing chlorine with a 5,11-bicyclic carbon skeleton, the molecular formula C20H33O4Cl.
