1.Sound fields generated by transducers with concave spherical acoustic lens and by transducers with concave spherical piezo-electric ceramic are studied through numerical calculations and experiments in this paper. The results indicate: focusing effect can be obtained in either case, but the latter transducer is more adaptable for high intensity focused ultrasound(HIFU) therapy.
