species hybridization
.To utilize rapeseed male-sterile lines, increase the affinity of cruciferae hybridization and breed new vegetable species, the studies conducted the affinity experiments of hybridization, investigated the cytoplasm effection of hybridization, growth vigor, yield and main nourisgment elementsts of tender flower stelk.
.Rapid identification of mycobacterium species by amplification of rpoB gene and reverse dot blot hybridization assay
.Aegilops, as an important genus in Triticeae of Poaceae, is composed of 24 species. In this genus, 12 species are diploids and others are allotetraploids or allotexaploids formed by hybridization and polyploidization of different diploids. Aegilops is a model system for studying genomic evolution in polyploids.
.In summary, the exotic species can affect native bird species in four main ways, 1) predation of birds or eggs by the exotic mammals; 2) competition for habitats and foods with exotic birds, and loss of genetic diversity by hybridization with the closely-related exotic species; 3) direct and indirect alterations of native habitats and food resources, and predation by the exotic invertebrates; and 4) loss and fragmentation of habitats for native birds through altering species composition and structure of native plant communities by exotic plants.
.Basing on our early stage research work about collection and description of sugarcane germplasm (saccharum complex) and the aided project of Yunnan Natural Science Fund (2001 C0015Q), the wild species Erianthus fulvus, which has good characters, cold-resistant, drought-resistant, higher Brix and less chromosome number, was utilized for the first time through intergeneric hybridization with sugarcane cultivar (Saccharum officinarum).
