6.If you are going straight out, watch and listen closely for the many fishing boats that use this bay as a launch site (a cautionary dive flag float is recommended).
7.For standing dive, the diver stands at the end of the springboard or platform with the body straight, head raised, arms at the side or up or outstretched.
8.A dive executed by jumping headfirst, bending the body at the waist, and, with the legs straight, touching the feet with the hands before straightening out to enter the water hands first.
